AuthorShare (AuthorStream) is a Web 2.0 tool that allows the user to share PowerPoint presentations through emails, YouTube, and blogs. Educational applications include online PowerPoints that can be added to an iPod or embedded into a website. Users can publish multimedia reports and presentations; these may be live broadcasts or saved to previously mentioned sites. This tool provides yet another opportunity for students to plan, research, and rehearse an important and effective means of communication.
